Paintball with the family
« on: November 30, 2004, 05:29:04 AM »

It is that time of year again when we layer our clothing and put on the cammo and step into our wooded backyard and shoot each other.
I am fortunate to have sons who like to play paintball with their old man.
 ;D
One team will hide first and then the other team has to find them in the woods. It is a time where we can strategise together on how we do an ambush or ambush the ambushers(?).
Stalking is fun and challenging as well as learning to take cover and conceal our selves.
How many of you practice your combat skills with paintball?

Paintball can be a blast......I like the way that you're playing....this is what is was in the late 80's with C02 tubes.....

I still play on occasion......but boy's baseball and soccer (coaching) seem to take up my time....

Maybe in a few years I'll get them both out there with me......

As a tofu slurping, granola munching, tree hugging, friend of the whales earth biscuit who's just got done sewing wind chimes on my birkenstocks I must take umbrage with the idea of taking children into the woods and teaching them something so violent as paintballing.

Good god man, have you no sense?  Couldn't you take them in and show them the rabbit tracks, hug some trees and let them listen to the babbling brook while you did some asanas?

Hard pressed on my right. My center is yielding. Impossible to maneuver. Situation excellent. I am attacking.
