Just why does the laws and customs of the UK hold any interest for you all whatsoever?  Let alone this obsession. This is disturbing....... ::)

Anyone who's been on forums discussing self-defense for any length of time will have read numerous posts from people in the UK flaming Americans who support the RKBA, telling us how wonderful it is to live without it. We also hear a lot from American Leftists who also point to the UK as the ideal arms-free paradise.  While this may have not happened on this specific forum, many of us have been on others where it happens.  I've seen it a lot since I started reading different forums.

It is a reaction to the behavior of anti-gun/anti-knife types in both the UK and US.  If they did not act like this no one would care.  Singapore, for example, has strict anti-gun laws, but no one really talks about them, probably because people from Singapore don't flame pro-RKBA Americans on the issue with any real frequency, and no American Leftists point to them as an example we should follow.

So why not argue it out with them rather than post things merely where you feel sure you will find agreement?  What's the point of that?  Is it a reassurance thing?

Buy a dummy.

No, that's just how these internet discussions and debates go.
