Training with Jim McCann
« on: December 05, 2004, 10:32:36 AM »

Just had the opportunity to train with Jim McCann and man was it great.  He really knows his stuff and is able to break down moves to their simplist elements.  I've studied Brazilian ju-jitsu for over 5 years but was amazed at what I didn't know when it came to actaully fighting in the street.

Jim is a wealth of information on all aspects of fighting from boxing to joint locks to groundfighting.  He is the complete package.  If you ever get the chance, I definitely recommend attending one of Jim's seminars or having him out to your school.

Just to let everyone know well in advance, Jim McCann will be accompanying Hock to England in October 2005 for a “Survival Ground Fighting Seminar.”  I know it’s a bit advance notice, so we’ll post again nearer to the event.  Everybody this side of the Atlantic is looking forward to this!

Cheers

I trained with Jim McCann for only one day when Hock came to Denver, Colorado. It was a great time to see Hock again and Jim had some very useful tactics that seemed easy and give a little pain. Was i wrong..it looks easy but the pain is so intense.. it was a great seminar
