My insurance is purchased through the Martial Arts Group. The insurance carrier is Midland Insurance Group, Maperville, IL. and the rate depends on how many students you have (the minimum would be 1 ~ 30 students is $508.00 plus $69.00 for joining the Martial Arts Group).

Francis L. Dean & Associates at http://fdean.com/martial_arts_insurance.html offers good coverage and they're very prompt and professional.  Minimum starts at $485.00 per year for 1-50 students.  I've never had to submit a claim with them, so I can't speak from that aspect.

I think you'll find $500.00 the average for comprehensive coverage when getting started. At least that was the case when I went looking.   Hopefully, you'll be able to find it for less though.
