Tsunami Experiences
« on: January 01, 2005, 03:50:32 AM »

Hi Everyone,

We all have friends all over the world, and many of us have friends in the region that was devastated by the tsunami.  I hope all of your friends made it throught the ordeal in tact and that they will survive the aftermath as well.  One of our San Francisco Serrada Escrima guys escaped the event because he "missed his flight" into Phuket, Thailand.  I have several friends and instructors that I know on the island of Penang, Malaysia that I just don't know about yet.  Life and death survival can happen at any minute.  We cannot be paranoid about it, we must just be as prepared as we can and then work with the cards we are dealt.

Let us know of any of your own  (or your friends) Tsunami experiences.  Maybe we can learn from them.

I hope 2005 is a safe, happy and prosperous one for all of us!
