Species of Rattan
« on: January 18, 2005, 09:20:58 AM »

I understand that there are a number of different species of rattan (Lapsica, Palasan, Alimuran, Tumulan, etc.). Can someone provide details on the different types and there particular unique characteristics?

I'm certainly not the expert, but,   nodes very close together + dark = hard.

Others will surely be able to help more.....any particular reason that you ask?
