Keith Miller sent me this, - as a pass-along- and it is perfect Arnold's Bus Stop material....


Like a lot of folks in this state, I have a job.  I work, they pay me.  I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit.  In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test with which I have no problem.
 
What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test.  Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them??
 
Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet.  I do on the other hand have a problem with helping someone sitting on their ass, doing drugs, while I work... Can you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check ??
 
Pass this along if you agree or simply delete if you don't.  Hope you all will pass it along , though.... something has to change in this country and soon!!!

 I have no issue with "welfare". The issue is with welfare fraud. Every society is going to have some genuinely unemployable or temporarily in need of assistance folk. It's the healthy that won't work or the folks cranking out kids to stay on it that are the problem. Or the folks getting 5 cheques. The left or liberals do go out of their way to make any kind of welfare reform difficult.  But the concept that all should or could work regardless, well that is a bit unreasonable. The problem is those genuinely in need of anything from a government are generally made to jump through hoops or are honest and have the worst time of it while the fraudsters know the game and continue to cheat the system without a problem.

Boy am I lucky   LOL

Gotta love being able to die for your country and get paid less than minimum wage while trying to support a family....

I'm with Wardog on this one.  It is a shame that the folks who are trying to do things the "right" way (honest folks who need some help) are having the hard time, while the dishonest people get by easy.  It seems more and more like there is no incentive to do the right thing, and more and more incentive to simply take the easy way and be dishonest.

Nope...  See if the UA program became a reality, everyone that failed the UA test would then be put into a rehab program (paid for by our Tax's), they would be rehabilitated then put back into the system...  

Imagine the pandora's box this would create.

I say just legalize it all....  They're stuck on stupid anyway...  Everyday we make choices.

I only ever had to put about a shot or 2 into the bottle. You mean they tested for drugs??

I though a urine sample was like getting a shot glass of random beer samples at a 100 beers on tap joint.

Looks like I have some ole party buddies that have some splainin to do.. I am gonna get a refund. All the samples I sent in over the years and none failed..... I got ripped off.. 

I wonder who tastes all the urine samples ?? 

I wonder if they will ever call me up and ask for a few kegs of my piss to put on tap??

 I agree. Never believed that, except in extreme cases, the state should give people a lifetime income. It is meant to be a helping hand, a very necessary one. Generational welfare is ridiculous and folks caught defrauding the welfare system should 1. If they are not yet citizens, be kicked clear of the country 2. Be kicked off the system forever. Also, people with children should be forced to take birth control(this was attempted but squashed) so no more children turn up while they are on the role. Making peole work a few days for their cheque isn't a bad idea either.

 As mentioned, the problem right now is that the honest taxpaying citizens of North America seem to be the ones who keep taking it in the ass. The middle class is being slowly sliced to pieces. While dishonest folk(Enron to welfare cheats) seem to stay ahead of the game. Or if they get caught.....a stern warning is all that they have to deal with. I have kids. I try to teach them right from wrong but more and more idiots are climbing the ladder and the honest folk are being chewed up and spit out!

 Carlin about sums it up. That is just the plain truth that nobody wants to hear. Or they will hear it and go back to work on Monday. He points out the social security grab and I agree. They argument that you should have your money so that you can invest it not the government sounds great, however, one fails to factor in the profits the investment houses(AKA the rich) will skim from this deal. It is deplorable.  If anyone believes that this is being done for them and not to line wealthy pockets they are delusional. Did you know there are now Death Bonds where investment companies buy up your insurance policy now( at whatever rate) and basically make money the earlier you die. Hedgefunds then sell investment in these groups of policies. Holy crap!

 I watched a movie recently(biographical) called The Last Days of Sophie Scholl, about a German girl executed for involvement in a Munich University anti-war group. She stood against the Nazis and died for it. Yet, most of us won't even open our mouths if it might cost us our yearly pay raise, let alone our lives.

  You can't get to President unless you have a lot of money and make a lot of shady deals and promises with Big Oil and/or big money. There is no such thing as an honest President. Some(few) do their best despite the handcuffs, most, like Bush, are just there to put more money in the pockets of their buddies. And before I get hit as anti-Republican, I believe the Democrats are cut from the same cloth. One is as bad as the other. Add to the big oil, election fixing(both parties) etc and we  have  a pretty corrupt system yet still it is the best one.What does that say?  Hillary Clinton's personal wealth is huge. And she is likely the next President of the US. This fine role model for women who showed power and influence should not be let go of no matter how many extra-curricular women your husband has had his dick in. But people still love Billy and her.

   Everything on TV is Dr.Phil exploiting losers to make money and tons of it. Oprah, the multi-Billionaire pretending she can still relate to average people(her dog lives better than 90% of humans). Jerry Springer. Maury Pauvich etc. And idiots who can't wait to be in the audience to perform the required Pavlovian talk show audience responses. Or people who can't wait to have a fist fight with their 8 months pregnant step-daughter who is sleeping with the cousin they are sleeping with, just so they can be on TV. We have become a pathetic bunch of wretches. Oops, got to go Ellen is on!

The founding forefathers are rolling in their graves right now!!!  For God sake, this country has become the opposite of what it was originally intended to be, it was intended to be a free and prosperous nation of tolerance with the right of every American to life, LIBERTY and the pursuit of happiness.  No BS.  Look it up, nowhere does it say personal issues (such as abortion, gay marraige, drug use, money or lack of it, etc), is within the confines of government control.  Those issues were up to management of each individual, according to the constitution.  Nowhere in the constitution does it say you have to pay federal taxes, it was never ratified by congress after WWII...because it was unconstitutional!  Know your history people.  Well we once had a revolution against oppression, hopefully history does repeat itself.

As a nation, we should pull together regardless of differences and focus on accountability enforcement in this time of fiscal irresponsibility.  We should pull together as we are close to having our amendments revoked, rights just stripped away, economy in peril, and international support diminished.  Its like the only thing the gvt will respond to nowadays is money and violence.  WTF?  I thought they actually cared about public opinion? 

Fast forward about 20 years, you will find no ss retirement for tax payers, extremists running the gvt, a dwindled middle class, super high fuel prices, fewer Americans employed, more crime, but still the welfare system and piss tests will prevail because, you got it... they are sooooo important to the survival of our great nation!

When it comes down to it, if and when the world becomes an extremely difficult place to live, being a politician or gvt official won't mean a thing if they don't know basic survival, hunting, self-defense skills.  Which most of them couldn't fight their way out of a wet paper bag.  They become useless as leaders then.

There I am done whining, gotta stock up on firewood for winter, get to casting and blasting for some food, and manage my small business like a good libertarian.
