I had the opportunity to join a krav org. There was a 4 digit fee at the outset and I'm pretty sure another fee payable each year.
I teach in order to help people. I've got a day job and it pays my bills. What I charge for teaching covers a room at the health club and equipment.
I flat out couldn't afford the krav group without making my teaching more of a job than I want it to be.
(And it sounds like I am missing the "big money boat," big time!)
Yeah Hock, you might be. But one of the reasons I joined your org is your fees are such that I'm guessing making lots and lots of money in franchise fees is not driving you to do this. You aren't the "kiss my feet because I'm the greatest master the world has known" type either, so I doubt you are doing this for the glory.
Whatever your motivation, it allows me to upgrade my training so I can better help people.

PS - I just looked at the beginning of this thread and forgot I posted much the same thing a while ago.
