Folding trainers
« on: March 18, 2008, 05:17:28 PM »

Can anyone suggest a decent quality/inexpensive folding trainer? There was one from Century which retailed for $16. but they have discontinued it. The next one in price I saw was $25. I'd like to buy a few dozen at wholesale if possible.

Thanks for any help,

Rob K.

Oh, you can't go too wrong with that wholesale Century version for group practice.
Once the knife-opening practice is over, once the knife is open? At a break, then you can switch to a smaller fixed blade trainer anyway. because the open folder operates like a small fixed blade knife anyway.

People buy the expensive trainer models that match their own knives.

They no longer carry those trainers. Any ideas who might?

It turns out Century did NOT discontinue that one. Not sure how our ordering department got that one wrong, but thank you for the suggestion. I actually bought that one last time Hock visited.

  Guys,

Same trainer as Century. Available in black or easy to ID yellow.  Have bought from this company before without problems.  FOR $3.00 LESS PER KNIFE.

For some reason the link only takes you part way there, so just type "knife" in the search block and scroll about half way down to find the folding trainer.

  Sorry bout that, Mark H
