Anyone used one of these?

Any thoughts?

You talking about the black, rubber-like sticks, shapped like Filipino sticks?

Some people really like them. I have heard a few complaints, but more happy people.

I like them. They bend a little more on hard strikes (war post) than a rattan stick. They are 32 inches in length and for me that a plus for doing the DMS work. They are slightly heavier, but not enough to make a difference. If you want them shorter you just cut them down to what ever size you want. I got mine for $17.95 and felt it was worth the price. I have one I use on a chipped up war post that I also use for knife and the surface will mar.

I appreciate the input.

Think I'll try one. Been having a little problem with my hands swelling from strikes to the war post and the give in the artificial sticks should help that. Along with gloves.

Thanks

It's been my personal experience that nothing is unbreakable. I've never used these sticks...but it's like saying the Titanic was unsinkable, wouldn't you think?

Don't really care about them being indestructible, just forgiving. I've started wrapping my rattan sticks to help with the re verb, but I wondered if the man made material might have less re verb.

That's all. I can break any set of sticks hitting a truck tire or war post! ;)

I have a pair, they're nice
I like them for SDMS work , not so much for double stick work
They are just a little too long and just a little too heavy
