The following happened in a classroom recently:

The girlīs voice is saying:
> About the teacher: "It's not that one it's the other one"
> The kid with the gun says (to the girl) "Is it now?", the girl answers "I can't film like that", (screen goes black for a while).

The kid the pulls out a gun (later determined to be a toy) and generally harasses the teacher.

> The school is saying that: "there was no aggression"; it was a "joke"; recommends no action.
> Local population: This is "giving our school a bad name"; the media should "tone it down".
HOW was the teacher supposed to know that the gun pointed at her was a toy?
How many crimes (such as rape) have been successful with the mere threat of a weapon?
No repercussions? If anyone did this when I was in school, they wouldn't be able to sit for a week (and would probably be decked by their classmates as well).
So now its okay to stage, film and undertake violence with NO repercussions? Brave New World indeed.
