In all honesty I am under the ipression that he still quietly teaches Muay Thai to his faithful forgiving followers..... but not too much SAS Fighting Secrets!

It is an NLP type of training program.

I do not know if he still has his Muay Thai school,but he is still involved in Muay Thai,the school may have shifted to his son.

I Do not know if he is still is involved in the SAS Survival school,it is under new management,which may be his son who was part of the school before Bob was exposed.

Apparently his son was genuinely a member of the Parachute Regiment.  No, not special forces.... but probably only the next step down.  Certainly special forces support material.

I wonder what he made of his old dad's claims.  Surely he must have known the truth all along?

If he didn't before he joined he probably twigged later on. Then again, maybe not. You don't see what you don't want to see.
I have seen his tapes and they are great stuff from what I have seen. Nothing revolutionary but good, basic Jap Slapping. So why the lies? The same for anyone, like Wagner and my old china, Blauer. One tells lies about his career and the other loves himself yet both apparently are entertaining with some good material as well as the controversial stuff. I once wrote a stirring testimonial for Blauer. I cringe every time I see it somewhere but at the time I thought it was a good thing and it was my truth at that moment.

I agree with your points as to why the lies ?
I have Spour's materials and ,as you say,they are good and sound and basic Jap slapping ,along the lines of WWII FAS type materials.

Spour did serve as a member of QRLR probably as a TA/Reservist so why not just go with that ?

But hey being a member of the QRLR probably as a TA/Reservist is not as selling as being former SAS with stints of excitement around the world.

He befriended former REAL Members of the SAS,like Big John "Mac" McAleese and others.He did TV Shows with members and ran his SAS Survival Course with former members ,as well as his son.
(His son ,as said, is a Former Para)

We ask if his son knew his father's tale ?
Well what about the SAS Guys ?
The Real SAS Guys had to have known Bob was a fake and they rode the ride,making money off this convincing guy who was doing it all ,with them in tow.
