Some people may say sacrifice form for intensity, but the coaches worth their salt, in all disciplines, not just CrossFit, will tell you to maintain form first.

CrossFit does not have the hard data, otherwise it would have been published.  What they do have is anecdotal evidence, which is hardly accepted in the scientific community.  There is data to support theories, and ways of training, but no data that says that the CrossFit approach is the best approach for fitness.

I still like the CrossFit approach to fitness, I feel it's the best approach for military members.  I've been using a randomizer app on my phone to select workouts for PT in the morning, as I've been given responsibility for training the PT failures and getting them up to standard.  I think it works great, the workouts are short, intense, no injuries so far, but everyone feels like they got a good workout.

If people don't like what they say, they can always do their own thing. But one way to prove how fit you are is to compete. The CrossFit games is one way to do that & not just their games any games it becomes a testing ground.
The big thing is are we able to increase our work load - that is how you know if you are fit.

My thoughts from training hard over the past couple years-One needs correct form and  add  intestiny  to it-the correct form (Or as close as possible)  will save you from possible injuries that will occur when you are in a intense situation-simple as that ....I.E. practise falling on cement or a hard surface the correct way may save your elbow side of knee or wrist when pushed, tripped , slipped-by not practising taking a fall will
find you maybe with a back of head injury-or sprained joint that will prevent you from escape........WW
