I always wondered how many days per year the NLP seminar guys like this actually work per year. It's all about the pitch, basic psychology, and playing word games. One of the NLP founders was a linguist, after all.
The nice thing about a martial arts tie-in is that he's already marketing to people who want to be more powerful, and must feel powerless to some extent.
People always ask about the pricing at our school. I've started answering "it comes out to about $14 per hour for members." I might be off by a factor of 10. I just need to put up a white board, and teach some life mastery at the end of class...I think I'll start saying $1450. When people respond "per year?!?!," I'll say "no, per HOUR. Any other questions?"
I start getting really suspicious when guys have all this training in their description, but have never run a successful school, organization, aren't on the martial arts seminar circuit, and don't have a network of guys who vouch for them.
