I had an ordeal just a couple weeks ago dealing with a Rottweiler that had gotten loose in our neighborhood. I'm a physically fit fella, and even at six feet and 220 lbs, I can tell you, she was a handful all by herself! Add another aggressive dog and a handful of hoodlums with knives to the mix...what a mess that would be.

What a shame! I can only imagine what must've been going through the victim's mind at the time. Only 16 years old; what a waste!

I can only hope these punks get the maximum punishment they can receive from the UK justice system. My condolences to the families of the victims.

See, here in Texas it would have played out differently. I would have shot the lead attacking and at least one of the low life shitheads between the eyes, the other in the nuts. The ones that were running i would have shot in the ass, stating that i thought they were going to get weapons.
Now you would ask about the second dog. Putting out your left arm, dog clamps onto your forearm, you bring gun up under his chin and blow his head off. I get stitches, they get coffins.
But the big question is, where were the cops? It was reported that these lowlife were spotted earlier in the evening.

Arnold,here is an answer to your question of where were the Police:
There is a Police station that backs up to the Park in the article.
I believe the Police station is only open part time as a budget concern.
There is a note on the door that tells you where to call for a Real Emergency,when the station is locked up.
Also all around the park are estates which allow one to run into and easily hide from the Police,if they showed up.

This park is not far from the Stockwell tube station.
The station where a few years ago the London Met ?, chased and shot a suspected Terrorist,who turned out to be a Brazilian Electrician,thus ending the most effective response to a potential terrorist threat available.(acted upon intelligence to terminate a suspect in the course of a possible terror attack).

Maybe those officers,from the tube station shooting, should patrol around the parks and use their terminating skills on the animals and their dogs.

Well it appears that your budget cuts are similar to what we have going on in the US. Not enough money for cops, but plenty to hand out to illegals and deadbeats.

As a rescue volunteer, there are good dogs and bad. Most are bad due to the interaction with some dumbfuck human, or no interaction at all.

Sad but true-the way dogs are treated leads to being friendly or dangerous-
guy next door to me-just came back from afganistan--walks his dog-hits it hard if it does not want to act the way he wants it too-also he yells at it-also he yells at wife in the house
other day dog got loose and ran towards our little dog-
i screamed get that dog away-my wife got our dog inside the door in time
the neighbor retrived the dog-but would not even say sorry or anything
i am getting a shotgun and if the dog comes again ill kill it...
Hope he gets orders again to afganistan-he is a douche bag-i dont like people who
scream at wifes  or act stupid.
