Part of the problem is "check book journalism."

And I always think of NAPMA. remember how NAPMA joined hands with Darren Levine's "Los Angeles" Krav Maga in the 1990s. "Bringing self defense to traditional MA." Tae Kwon Do school were RAVAGED by insane pricing, franchises and etc for years. 
Now, not one of the original TKD schools are still with them.
And now, almost no one is with them period. Just a few stragglers.

Not long ago NAPMA had Damian Ross on their board of Professionals,(I think he taught Marketing),lol.

Not only Good God  but holy moly batman what a mess that guy got him self into.
Thanks to the wolf clan I never got envolved in paying for any of that individuals
way of using people to make a $-i imagine that in reality if all that i read is true- and i have no way to really insure it is-this guy has lost it and probably will fade away-but one never knows about people and how they can be decived. As you guys know I
mention to my students and in seminars that part of my sylabus in instruction comes from among other CQC tactics the generic term -Krav Maga- and i explain that the words translate into -contact combat  and that i also use the tern Retsuv which means continuous motion-i always insure that i do not even say I am part of IKMA IKMF WorldKM- etc etc-hopefully when i run into other instructors who mention KM they
are of the same mind set as i am-if not I just look at the tactics only and if i think the tactic works i incorporate it. I have been approached over the years to join- pay-(a  lot)
and get certified- I say sorry- I am all ready certified from years on this earth learning and hopefully passing on something that will save someones 6 when they are in need of it.I nw have over 3000 posts here and during that time i  have learned a  lot which helps me -ill continue to pick your guys brains-on friday evening services i think a lot about what i am doing and so far i feel all is ok- all stay safe- WW (ELB) "speed of light"

I want to thank all of the readers of this forum for visiting my blog.  Thanks to Hock for linking this forum to the blog.  There is a ton of new stuff.  Jim Wagner has his own page with some really funny updates.  You guys have been informing people about this guy long before me and I appreciate this forum as an information source.

I am really seeing some indicators that Kanarek and Aizik are in trouble and having to answer some tough questions about their misrepresentations.

I read some of the crap on Wagner's site. Thse letters he puts up to 'prove' his background are a joke. I mean how come some National Guard SPecial Forces sergeant is singing his praises to his boss? I would have thought the letter should have come from a commissioned officer or warrant officer to have some value. While not putting down the Utah National Guard, I thought the Grenn Berets at Fort Benning would have been a bit more like it.. as in the regular army ones. (Tell me they are still at Fort Benning or else my whole facade will be exposed and my soon to be released family based filipino fighting system ridiculed)

The letter to Wagner with Special Forces Letterhead is NOT form an SF unit but from an Intel Unit ATTACHED to Special Forces,using SF Letterhead.
If you look at the pictures Wagner has with the men from this group you will not see ONE GREEN BERET.
Wagner would like readers to believe that REAL SF people would have need of him to teach them about rigging for rappel and various weapons,LOL.
It is ALL BS EYE CANDY.

Great stuff on your site.
I atteneded a few Moni Aizik seminars and liked his materials.
He has the gift of gab,but I noticed that when talk before training got into military specifics his girlfriend would always come over and have need for him else where.
I was thinking about doing his instructor certifcation but I knew I would never teach it as a stand alone art so I did not do it,Thankfully, knowing what is known now about the lies of his past.I even tried to defend Aizik on here until it became clear that he was BSing people.

And remember, Wagner's big name teaching gigs actually came from when he was a junior staff member of Dan Erber's HSS International. HSS did these gigs. He participated.
The HSS staff all originally knew each other form southern CA police agencies.
Wagner uses all those HSS times. group pictures and names as though they were his alone to confuse customers into thinking he himself was the sought-after expert. Wagner was eventualy fired from HSS.  

Wagner teaches none of these big names now, though he would like you to think he does...though he sure likes to show those patches!
