Choke to drop to head injury
« on: March 18, 2010, 02:50:56 AM »

Read this sad story.
Down the page is the CC film of the fight.

Good training/teaching moment to see what actually happens after a choke with the unconcious person hits the deck!

I'm always reminding my guys that they are responsible for the other person once they have advanatge. If you're going to do something then do it, but try not to do things accidentally. That goes for assailants and training partners.

Understory....
In Melbourne, news reports a crisis in night club voilence. Bouncers included.
I've known and know some very tough bouncers in Oz and the UK.

Lawsuits and filing charges forcing some changes.

But did you all take note of the choked out guys fall? Yikes.
MA and MMA trains a lot of chokes, half fakes them to a tap-put...there's a good look at a completed one. Dead weight and a fall.

Choked him for a LONG time after he was out....and he knew he was OUT with the dead weight.....let him fall....then walked back....no helping out friend....no rush to next action...

He's in trouble.

Anybody remember this incident. Belzer ended up suing Hogan over this little stunt:
