Usually the arms, inside of the forearms, crook of the arms, side of biceps, wrists. This will sever the tendons as well as certain muscles as well as cause blood loss. Other parts include the legs particualrly the inner and outer thigh. You can also use the pommel of the knife for striking if you decide not to use the blade to slice and dice. Hope this helps.

Big toe, thumb.....most of the others may kill them.   I think your question is what are "less-lethal"

Yup,

People have a funny way of expiring at the least opportune times.  Guy in SA tried non lethal tactics with a shot of 9mm ball to the leg.  He hit the femeral and the guy bled out.

If you are thinking non lethal responses then perhaps the knife is not the best tool.

Try an ASP.

Hi Guys

Level 7 of Hock’s Knife/Counter Knife programme is The Pommel Strike/Closed Folder Less Than Lethal Module.  Remember the knife has a tip for stabbing, an edge for slashing and hacking, a pommel for striking and the flat of the blade for striking.  A knife doesn’t always equate to a “lethal cutting machine.”  You may need to use the knife as a bargaining chip with no intention what so ever to kill the guy. Remember what Hock says, “67% of the time violence ends when a weapon is presented.”  This is precisely why we advocate developing skill with your knife.

Ciao
