Saw it yesterday with the wife. We both liked it. It was a good all around movie, and was very well done I thought. The ending was really different. Wondering if it was in line with the book more. It was hard not to think of John Wayne in a couple of the scenes, but Bridges did a good job. I liked it and would see it again.  But growing up with the original, I would put John Wayne in the DVD player first.
Wonder if they will try to make Rooster and the Lady next??

Seen it!
Enjoyed it!
On the scale of 1 - 10, I'd give it a 7.5.

Everyone was great. The story is kind of short as events go, I realized today.

The reason the story is treasured is because of John Wayne and the surrounding events of the film. Otherwise not sure the storyline itself is treasure-able.

The moral of the story?
Everytime you go to the watering hole - beware - you might run into Tom Chenay and Lucky Ned Pepper.

Oh, yeah, don't pass up a chance for a drink at Orginal Bob Greaser's place.

Tooth Fairy wasn't bad for a kid's flick.

YUCK!   Double YUCK!

Don't watch!   See the original -  AGAIN!

HORRIBLE!

I want my time spent watching it back.  I feel cheated out of a slice of life.

The Professor is wrong. It was very good. The new one is not a John Wayne movie...it's a western. Very good, well acted.

I liked it a lot. The same, only different. Both are great in different ways.

Rented it. Didn't like it. And Jeff Bridges sounds unconvincing in his  country accent.
