A British revolver from the 1920's is the suspected murder weapon in an unsolved case Police have said. The Webley Mark VI ( Stamped 1924 ) has been linked to the shooting in West Norwood ( London ) of Ricardo Cunha on Sept 11th 2010. He was shot in the head and died instantly as he looked out of his bedroom window responding to shouting in the street. It seems that he was a victim of mistaken I.D. The weapon was recovered the next day, Police said, '' At this stage we don't have a full history of the weapon. It was in very good condition and it is possible someone was holding on to it as a keepsake, from the war. It may have been stolen in an unreported burglary ''. No arrests have been made in connection with the murder or the gun.
