I saw this movie in 1979 after it had been recommended as a fun movie, being 18 at the time with my girl friend in tow we went to see it and well I didn't get it.  Saw it a few years ago on TV and thought it was funnier.

It is still twisted and a Western

What about "The Villian" staring Kirk Douglas, Ann Margret, and Arnold Schwartzenegger.

This is a screw ball comedy, think live action western inspired by the Road Runner cartoons.  Kirk Douglas stars as "Catus Jack" the gunslinger all clad in black, Ann Margret as "Miss Charming", and Arnold as "Handsome Stranger", oh and Catus Jack's Horse named "Wiskey"

The plot revolved around Catus Jack trying to get something from Miss Charming, Miss Charming trying to get something from Handsome Stranger, and Handsome being totally clueless to everything around him.  Add in the road runner inspired antics and I thought it was the dumbest movie when I was 18 (I took it to seriously).  30 yrs later though it might be better than I remembered.

I got to page six before I saw the Trinity Collection, definitely twisted.

I saw (I think it is ) the first one while watching TV with a former girl friend and we came across the scene where the two brothers are sitting around the table eating with the rest of the family and they are (if I remember right) farting and belching while tearing into food.  Very rough and course humor and look to the filming, so we were like what the heck is this.

A couple of years later I heard one of my instructors (back in 81) talk about the speed of Trinity in the slapping scene in the bar.  What a hoot.  Same thing with the Mormon family always reappearing through out the one show with the baby named "Windy" by Bud Spencer.  Real twisted humor.  I remember snippets of the movies but they were funny.

Here is one I saw way back in my younger Days.  I tried to copy the image but to no avail.  The short description was copied from wikipedia.

Zachariah (1971) is a film starring John Rubinstein as Zachariah and Don Johnson as his best friend Matthew. The film is loosely based on Herman Hesse's novel Siddhartha, surrealistically adapted as a musical Western by Joe Massot and the members of the comedy troupe The Firesign Theatre.

It was billed at the time as the first Marijuana Western and it featured members of the James Gang and other musical artists in it.  This was real twisted, but I can't remember any of it. It was one of the Midnight Movie events of my high school days.
