I think that the best single source of Aikido information is a book called : Aikido and the Dynamic Sphere by Westbrook and Ratti.

Try to get the Hardcover version if you can. This really is a fantastic reference, beautifully illustrated.

Something for expect and beginner.

Highly recommended.

my father bought that book for me in the 70's, I've had to replace it twice due to theft
evidently quite a good book...lol!

Dynamic Sphere is a great book; we've used it in our hapkido class. Also, a new work out that is valuable is "Aikido Exercises for Teaching and Training? by C.M. Shifflett.

+1 on the CM Shifflett book. It was a fave back when I studied Aikido.
