For anyone wondering...  he is doing well now.  He lost over 40 lbs while in the hospital, but he has been up and about and back to holding Balintawak practice at his house.  He is just as quick with the stick as ever, but his stamina was affected.  He is working on that though,speed walking several miles a day.  He plans to hold a big event in Las Vegas fall of 2012 - if you've never had the chance to see him, I would recommend making a trip!

Professor:
Send him our best.    May the smell of the fire of the stick heal him.
