This is a really good CYA opportunity:

Do you have rules posted?
Do you have emergency procedure posted?
Do you have quarterly/annual review procedures to address saftety in your school?
Do you have an adequate first aid kit?
Do you have insurance?

If I was a prosecutor for an injured student, these are some of the first questions that I would ask....

If you are going hard-core and exposed to other peoples blood, you may want to consider a Hepatitis B vaccination.  You can get life cover now with three injections and success rates are high for dveloping the right anti-bodies.

I don't own a school, I just have a club that meets at the base gym and then at a local community center.  I make everybody sign a waiver  saying they won't sue a whole list of parties (including me) which I have had reviewed by base legal and the City of Albuquerque dept of recration legal staff.  Do you think I should do more?  I am somewhat limited in my resources at the $10/month I charge.
