after attending Hocks seminar i went back to this vidio and thought about the techniques shown at talahoma -and see that what was shown  there apply to bascally many of the movements on the vidio-
continuing the training at the school here same stuff basically applies as to blocking and going in for a strike-we are now working on counters using a knife both in standard and reverse grips-we are working on speed also when countering-interestng -something different than just the ordinary everyday punching the shit out of a kick shield-WW

I went back today and reviewed this vidio again-i think there are some good moves to practise here in situations that one might come in contact with at very close range in some type hostage/robbery situations-it does not hurt to try some of them and see what you feels works or does not work-WW

You'll notice that there is very little DFT in there. While many of those movements work great with a willing partner, they don't always work so well when the attacker has a convulsive death-grip on the knife and he is trying to drive it through your body.
