Title: A Big Shooting Difference
Post by: Hock on July 14, 2007, 07:47:53 AM
Here is a shooting news story form my old alma mater, the Denton Texas Police Department. I took note of the gunshots and well...un-range-like the shooting was, and how typical a gunfight this event really is.
(Check those mugshots of the ol' boys involved)

Donna Fileder has run the Crime Blotter there for almost 40 years and she knows how to breakdown a story in tactical details. i think it comes from sitting in on thousands of court cases and learning how important "situational" and "positional' is.

p.s. - oh, the title of the entry? The big difference? Is between the two-handed grip range shooting and what really happens most of the time.
