Title: fastest folder
Post by: RHenault on February 27, 2005, 06:10:57 PM
I am looking for a knife that attaches as a belt buckle and is supposed to deploy faster than any other knife.  Has anyone seen this on the web. or heard of such a weapon.
Thanks

I've seen those, look pretty snazzy, probably illegal as all get-out in CA and Mass.  I can't think of the name, but the one I'm remembering isn't a folder; it's really a push dagger with the grip modified into a belt buckle, and the blade goes down into the belt as a sheath.  They made a single and double edged version; Atlanta Cutlery always carried them, you might try there.

i think they were made by bowman knives, or bowman belt knives.
I have one somewhere around the house that I picked up at a gun show

Is this the one you mean?  http://www.belt-buckle-knife.com/  I've never seen one in real life, but have heard they are pretty pricey for what they are.

Best regards,
