Title: technique questions
Post by: juszczec on September 13, 2009, 04:50:10 PM
Can someone describe a hooking pommel punch?

How about a closed baton pommel strike?

How about a choke grip?

Describe a hooking pommel punch?

A hook punch with a stick in your hand. The striking surface include the fist and the side of the pommel/handle exposed.

How about a closed baton pommel strike?

The expandable baton is closed. It become like a palm stick. There are two pommels. Strike with them.

what about a choke grip?
Any grip on a stick that, facilitates the other arm and the stick into some kind of choke.

Use filipino terms, Dulo for the tip of the stick and Punyo for the butt of the stick,

It won't matter if the expandable is open or not, there is still a top and bottom,

Maybe name it a Punyo Punch, Punyo Drag same for Dulo, this way its seperated,

Just a thought,

That's fine until you have to testify in court and the validity of your profeciency in the language comes up.

I'll stick with English.
