Heads up Ladies & Gents:

Just had the privilege of hosting Hock & Marc Halleck for the filming of Levels 1 & 2 of Marc's Silat combatives.

In modern speak its the BOMB!

His stunt man, Scott took quite a beating, reminds me of being stuntman for Hock!  Marc has some excellent training concepts and drills.  He is highly organized and thorough & I can't wait to see these get out as well as what he has up his sleave for the next levels.

Check it OUT!

Hi,

Is there any news on when Mark Halleck’s Panatukan-Silat Combatives DVDs will be out?  I was a student of Maphilindo Silat long ago and really enjoyed it, so I'm really eager to see this more combative version of Silat.

Thanks,
Marx

I think it will be ready for sale by Tuesday night, 14 December.
Volume 2 should be ready  by 20 December.
Vol 3 and 4 by March...and so on....

http://www.hockscqc.com/shop/martials_arts_masters_books_dvds_tapes.html

on the "Additional DVDs and books" page  as well as on the PAC page.

We are going as fast as we can.

I would like to know from whoever has  viewed the Panatukan-Silat videos if the material contains low-line kicking instruction in the videos and which volumes is this material contained in? ???

Thanks for any info.

??? SorryShould of included  this in my first question., Also, what abou the slapping that you find in the philipino and indonesian arts?

So does the panatukan silat have  lowline kicks and slapping in its empty hand material?

I really have'nt put any of the low line kicking like sipa, yatuk, etc. but maybe i will include some, level 2 contains slapping and elbow destructions, i love slaping, head, face, kidney, i also incorporate slapping with head scoops in level 2. Level 3 will incorporate biset sweeps and starting sapu sweeps, then we will build on kenjit, abaga series (shoulder butting) Hammerlock series, crucifix series, kuda kuda stepping and a cool panantukan hand flow series.
hope this helps, anymore questions just ask

I purchased Guro Marc Halleck's level one Panantukan Silat combatives dvd. It was a fantastic level indeed! Very well put together! Found it quite informative and a welcome addition to the whole self-defense concept. Looking forward to level 2. Marc I hope you don't mind any questions I might have for you later on.

Thanks for the hard work and continued knowledge you lend.

Thanks again,

Forrest

To Mr. Halleck,
Right now the seminars page isn't especially detailed, could you list the specific seminars you will be contributing to this year. Both those within the SFC and those which are independant of the group.
Thanks
