Good 1911 Airsoft?
« on: October 21, 2006, 03:24:49 PM »

Hey guys,
I know that my local Wal-Mart and Big 5 have nice clear airsoft guns, but I've been on the lookout for an electric 1911 style so my airsoft would more closely match my real gun.  Well, I found this site, and they have the gun I'm looking for – and it's only ten dollars.
Are any of you familiar with this company, or these guns?  Ten dollars seems TOO cheap, and it would be false economy to buy this one only to have it break immediately.  I'd rather have a decent Beretta airsoft than an inferior 1911 version.  Here's the URl, the gun I'm looking at is just a little way down the page, model WA2016B.

Thanks

I don't know … I first saw this site months ago, and their "sale" has been going on for some time now.  If it's a misprint, it's a deliberate one, as much of their stock is selling for under $10.  I put it in "my cart," and shipping (from Utah) is a bit under $8, so the total looks to be almost $18 – maybe that's comparable to the cost from Wal-Mart once they've shipped it to my local store?  My last one was the one Hock sold here, which was about $20 or so after shipping.
But I know what you mean; if it seems too good to be true …

Is it electric?
Or do you have to cock the slide with every shot.
If so they are fairly worthless as we need the semi-auto operation.
I have seen and shot some of the other guns on the page and some where ok.

OK Guys I received my electric Glocks today even though it says that 4 free AAA batteries are included none were, but they shoot just fine and are very accurate. They are all plastic,  good for shooting force on force practice but too delicate for anything rougher, they fit my holsters just fine.  ;D
