Sorry,
Bert did not like having his photo taken let alone being in a video. We had to talk him into it to show the little he did show.

I have rewatched this vidio at  least 10 times-each time observing the steps of the strikes-the more i  watch the  more i pick  out.

At one time we had Bert Poe, Bob Bremer, Jim Sewell, Sonny Bygum (1st Navy Seal team) and me teaching 5 other guys in my garage.

T -did you  make a  vidio of that training in th garage? What is interesting about Poes vido is that he makes his attacks from almost a normal  stance which as i  call "street oriented"-one is confronted and immediatly attacks and overcomes.
I probably will rewatch it  more and hopefully learn more.

I don't think that's there's any video of the garage days, which is too bad. By the time we learned that Bert was leaving us it was too late.

T-thats the way it  is the good never are appreciated as they  should be-i am at the stage in my  life that I only try to  associate myself with the people that i feel are real warriors (in any endevor)-i had some bad experiences when i  was young (my fault)
i listed some before on another  post but here are some that i  will always regard as true warriors.
1-a Green Baret from VietNam era (had 3  tours there)
2-Anthony Arcy-Undercover officer newark NJ PO (taught me a lot in a short time)
3-Howard Keyabu-instructor in Kung Fu (combat)-another Baret from Nam era(taught in Hawaii)
4-Although never met  him-his writings are on the money -Geoff Thompson
5-Although only met Hock  once in a seminar in Nashville-his teachings are real for the street.
6-My security guys in VietNam
7-Gary Alexander (wild man)
8-My wife-(without her I would probably be dead or a alcoholic at least)

I have trained my many , many talentated folks from all walks of life. But the guy that taught me the most about fighting and reality was my Dad, hes one tough SOB and grew up in on the mean streets of east hastings fighting asian gangs (think of the Fonze on this)

T-now i  feel bad-I forgot my Pop also-He taught me to box -also he grew up on the streets of the Bronx-Him and my uncle were like your  Pop-mean as hell-both were Jews and did not take any  crap from anyone anywhere. This was in the days of probition and the gang  wars between Irish/italian/jewish mafia and who ever..
