In the book preview it looks like a generic sport grappler's book.

I think it's probably worth a peak. $75 though?

a student has it at my school, i have looked through it, not bad, i would classify it with the gene lebell submission book and the fighters notebook.
it is worth adding to the collection

An add on to "The Fighter's Notebook" , which is really all about the basics.  Shows set ups  to submissinons and an almost unlinmited variation  of things to do -- if he does this, if he does that-- An  encyclopedia of submissions.  A really good thing about both books is that if you have any questions, you can e-mail either Kirik Jenness or David Roy and they will respond that very day.

I was one of the 1st to buy "The Fighters Notebook"  and had trouble w/ a sweep, and David Roy responded almost immediately.  They are good guys.  and very down to earth.

I have this book and its good for sport grappling to cross reference moves. It does have some self defense tech and bouncer moves. May spark ideals for more realistic self defense. The come-alongs for bouncers looks pretty useful.
