Rattan Suppliers
« on: April 11, 2012, 08:42:18 PM »

Hey Guys,

Anyone know of any low cost raw rattan pole suppliers? I haven't had to buy new sticks in years but I am now due for some as well as some staves. I would prefer raw skinned rattan that I can cut to my own sizes. I found a couple of places online but was just wondering if anyone here had some good sources. I tried to contact Tim Greenman via the e-mail address on Hock's instructor page but he hasn't responded.

Any assistance is appreciated.

Tim would be my best guess.
If his email isn't dead, maybe he will answer....

I can get you good rattan, skin on that outlast most sticks, for a cheap price in quantity, how many do you need?

This depends on cost. Right now, a couple sets of sticks and a couple of staves.
6 foot staves, 1.25 to 1.5 inch diameter
28 inch sticks,  7/8 to 1 inch diameter
