« on: July 01, 2012, 03:03:42 PM »

Student has a baton
Trainer has a knife
Trainer attacks with basic pattern
12 3 6 9 straight thrust
Student must respond to each attack with "stick-hand-stick"
1. "stick" - student strikes wepon bearing limb
2. "hand" - student controls/checks same limb with his empty hand
3. "stick" - student strikes to the body with stick

now change it, how does the person with the knife get in?
1 - step and slide back, let stick pass charge
2 - parry the thust of stick, cut
3 - take stick hit, wrap and snake, cut/stab

I have some more, then do it stick and dagger, I have lots of drills i could share
