The look in his eyes when he's not speaking says, "WTF do I do next?!"

Other than that....wow.   Switch hands?  Don't take control of the pistol?

One of the comments from that video....

Quote
i think alot of people watch this and miss the point. if your only considering the external technique, then yes it then seems dangerous. but the INTERNAL-what you dont see, isthe sensitivity, the chi sau, and thats a very powerful thing. if your chi sau is proficient, you should be able to disarm the opponent blindfolded. if hes close enough to touch, he cant pull the trigger before u move. and once u make that contact, hes finished...on the other hand, money can be replaced. always be wise! :D

Damn, all I can say is I hope that guy NEVER finds out just how wrong he is...

The guy is really teaching outside of his knowledge zone. Overly complicated moves that point to lots of rubber weapon training.

noload- good post -luckly i have only been  in one  situation where I  had to  respond and took the wpn away-
Rubber gun training is  ok but it  has to  be repeated under some stressful conditons and from various positions -use of the sim  gun helps out-
Some  will probably  argue but doing takeaways many  many times helps
even  f  its just a practise wpn-WW

The techniques are mostly useless.
Why is the instructor holding the firearm ?
Why not have the student hold the weapon while the instructor shows and talks through the technique, since the student had NO clue ?
The instructor was looking past the student, apparently reading his description as he went through the technique because he, the instructor, had NO Clue as to how or what he was doing.

I am sure though that since it is on you tube and is a Chinese guy doing wing chun,(Bruce Lee's base Art),many will believe it works and will train it as reality.

This video is one of the worst things I've ever seen. It reminds me of:

http://youtu.be/kvTxH11O2HU

Though the above video is aware that the techniques are bad and the WC video clearly is not.

His delivery leaves a lot to be desired, too.

No WCer that I know thinks that anything in the original video is good.

Totally agree. There are a lot of cool things that you can do with a rubber gun... This is very common in Martial Arts.
