In your opinions is the hammerfist a useful tool? Because as part of lee morrisons bare essentials caveman combatives the hammerfist being the primary strike, with the knee strike being the follow up. This curriculum was taught to a military team he trained so it must be useful. Just need some someone that has actually applied the technique to offer me there insight / opinions on it.

The hammer-fist is fine. One tool.
Lee Morrison is no better or no worse than dozens and dozens of other people teaching. he is just recently "lucky-famous."

It is unlikely anyone else will answer because this forum page is essentially dead and no one bothers to look at it.

Watch MMA and you'll occasionally see some pretty heavy hammerfist shots, but they're not magical fight stoppers any more than regular punches are.
